Is this truly an overreaction by me, or does it seem like eBay is losing a lot of its reliability? As a seller I am truly disappointed and frankly a bit scared for what the future of eBay for your responses, I really appreciate it. If eBay is going to make it very difficult to contact them, or isn’t going to contact it’s sellers at all (or review help requests) is there any other way to reach eBay? Also, with each email I marked the section “send a copy of message to my email” and yet I’ve never received any confirmations. In conclusion, I’ve tried contacting eBay customer support (Two emails in the last week, neither responded to). Why is my case still open for “item not as described” when I’ve provided opportunities for the buyer to return the item for refund, but instead they kept the item, admitted they made a mistake, and left positive feedback? How come the “eBay will step in” date has come and passed and eBay never stepped in?

Why am I not allowed to list an Xbox Series S? Of all sellers, I’d like to think I pose the least amount of threat of something being illegitimate. I do not use the Top Rated seller badge on all my sales.

Not to toot my own horn, but I am a top rated seller with 100% positive feedback with over 1000 sales. Upon listing the item, I receive a message from eBay saying I’ve “reached my limit for Xbox Series S listings and/or my selling performance doesn’t meet standards”. Second, I lucked out and found an Xbox Series S in person in store (been sold out for 6 months) and decided to purchase it to sell on eBay. My funds are on hold by managed payments. The buyer never shipped the return, and has gone on to leave me positive feedback since, but eBay still has not closed the case, even after the “eBay will step in to decide” date has also come and passed.

One, I have a buyer who claimed “item not as described”. I contacted eBay “Help” (Customer Support), however due to the pandemic the only option is to email them or post in the forum.
